Another option for protecting your property is using weatherboard cladding.
Weatherboard is very similar to fibre cement cladding and offers the same fire-resistant qualities as well as being rot-resistant.
Unlike cedar cladding, weatherboard is not affected by termites, woodpeckers and other pests and will be a longer-lasting material.
Cladding is a great way to protect your property, keep it warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Low maintenance is also a massive bonus.
Cladding only really needs to be washed down and perhaps painted every 10 – 15 years.
Other types of cladding to consider include cedar cladding, fibre cement cladding, zinc, copper, aluminium, lead and steel.
Our teams have experience working on new builds, listed properties, stately homes, halls, manors, churches, schools, holiday homes, cottages and work for private property owners, landlords, and contractors whether the job is a new build, rebuild, repair work, insurance work or emergency work. We can advise which cladding is best for your property.
